< Clearlake Youth Soccer League
Clearlake Youth Soccer League was an
interesting project that required data-
base creation, constant page updates,
custom form creation, and communicating
with several members of the soccer board
for different changes and would ultimately
be our first award-winning website after
winning a Golden Web Award in late 2008.
It was a project that started in Spring 2008
and that is ongoing to this day.

After one year of managing an old, clunky
site, the MMA commissioned us, in
partnership with Lake County Websites,
to revamp the site and make it more
useful for the community. It involved
creating a new SQL database and moving
the data, along with modifying a PHP
template. The site was made much more
usable and got a fresh, new look.

This was the first WordPress based
project we'd done for a customer. We
worked side-by-side with Refueled, a
WordPress theme developer, to create
a usable theme with style and all the
features required by the customer such
as a monthly quiz on the front page.

Minenna Photography was desi-
gned by the entire team at JWD, not
just a single designer. We were resp-
onsible for compacting and editing
photos, creating page templates,
and search engine optimization.

< Habitat for Humanity, Lake County
Habitat for Humanity was an especially
special project because of their involvement
in the project. Rather than using profess-
ional software to design the website, we
took into account that Habitat's volunteers
will maintain the site after our job was done.
We used Yahoo SiteBuilder and trained two
volunteers with the software as part of the
website design project. Volunteers still edit
and maintain the website to this day.

For this website we were ch-
allanged to create a 100 page
gallery for homes, detailed
history and services pages, and
all in less than one month. The
time line, however, was followed
to a tee and we published the
site on time. This site showcases
the beautiful homes the company
constructs. This site is no longer
online as displayed.

smooth project from start to finish.
We were tasked to create a four
page website and do it on a strict
budget. During these rough
